As one of our members put it, “This trip was the craziest experience ever.”
None of this would have been possible without the incredible efforts of our executive team, the unwavering support of our club members, the belief of ASUO in our mission, the guidance of Lundquist College of Business faculty, and, above all, the invaluable assistance of our Duck alumni network. As the President of the UO Alumni Association told us at the beginning of this journey, “Ducks want to help Ducks.” The alum’s we met along the way proved true to that promise, making this wild dream a reality.
Takeaways From Our Members

Boston Jordan
“The most important thing I took away from New York was how much people want to help others. Going to big name companies was overwhelming at first, but after meeting the people who work there I realized how much they want to help support us. This was incredibly reassuring and made me feel empowered.”

Lily Pruzek
"Getting the chance to network with so many amazing women both within the club and outside the club was so uplifting. One of the things that really stood out to me was the power of being yourself when networking. Even if imposter syndrome creeps in and you don't feel like you are good enough to be talking to people of higher-up positions, lean into the things that make you, you. Your natural self will come through, and that is what people want to see! There is always something to learn from every opportunity, especially the ones outside of your comfort zone, so get out there and advocate for yourself!"

"My biggest takeaway from the New York trip was gaining insight into major industries and feeling inspired by women leaders who confidently shared their voices. This experience reinforced my belief that I, too, can rise to become an empowering leader."
